TYRI Lighting Solutions in Commercial Vehicles & Transport
Drive Light Module – DLM-09
The TYRI DLM-09 is a compact 90 mm high and low-beam driving light for buses, trucks, tractors, and off-road vehicles. Built with a durable housing to resist dust, water, and vibration, it delivers reliable performance in all conditions. Advanced optics provide brighter, clearer illumination for safer driving, while low power consumption reduces operating costs. Combining OEM-grade performance with competitive pricing, the DLM-09 offers exceptional value.
Freestanding Driving Light – DLM-F1
TYRI’s DLM-F1 is an innovative lighting solution and unique free-standing headlight, designed for flexible installation at high mounting positions on trucks, buses, and heavy vehicles. Combining six functions, including High Beam, Low Beam, Tri-LED High Beam, DRL, Turn Marker, and Side Marker, it delivers powerful performance in one compact unit, providing versatile illumination for diverse vehicle applications. Its innovative Tri-LED High Beam projects over twice the distance of conventional headlights when positioned at a height of 1 meter. This ensures superior visibility and safety.
Terberg Benschop
When Terberg Benschop required an LED driving light upgrade to replace halogen units without altering existing mounting points, they turned to TYRI. The result was the HL Compact, a space-efficient driving light with improved side illumination, integrated daytime running lights, and a matching LED turn marker—fully ECE-compliant and tailored to Terberg’s exact specifications.
Clear Vision in Reverse
Reverse lights on commercial vehicles are often mounted close to the ground, where they face constant impact from stones, water, snow, and mud. TYRI’s LED 0909 reverse lights (R10/R23) deliver powerful, reliable illumination to give drivers full visibility when manoeuvring. For added flexibility, reverse light solutions are also available in the 1010 (R10/R23) and VL4 (R148) lightbar models, ensuring safe operation across a wide range of vehicle types.
Streamlined Design
Effective lighting starts with smart design and flexible mounting options. TYRI offers a range of light bar solutions for heavy vehicles, including the VL4, which can be mounted flush or on a bracket. Its sleek, low-profile design delivers efficient illumination without compromising the vehicle’s appearance, blending performance and aesthetics seamlessly.
INTELLilight® Lighting System
TYRI’s INTELLilight® lighting system allows operators to adjust colour temperature from 2700K to 6500K, and dim the light output from 100 – 0%, providing flexible work lighting for trucks and commercial vehicles. Adaptation to conditions such as snow, fog, rain, and low-light environments improves visibility, reduces eye strain, and enhances driver comfort.
Driving Lights for Commercial Vehicles & Transports, Trucks and Buses
TYRI driving lights are purpose-built for trucks, buses, and specialist vehicles that operate day and night, in all conditions. Designed for long-range visibility, they cut through darkness, rain, snow, and fog to give drivers a clearer, safer view of the road ahead. With precision optics that reduce glare and enhance reaction times, our driving lights deliver consistent, reliable performance in demanding environments. Durable, energy-efficient, and engineered for OEM integration, TYRI driving lights help fleets operate smarter, safer, and more sustainably.
Lighting Challenges in Commercial Transport
Modern commercial vehicles operate in all conditions — day and night, across cities, highways, and remote routes. For OEMs designing trucks, buses, and long-haul vehicles, visibility isn’t just a performance factor — it’s a safety requirement and a regulatory necessity.
Key challenges include:
- Variable driving conditions — from motorways to rural roads and construction zones
- Strict safety regulations around beam patterns, brightness, and driver visibility
- High-speed driving requiring optimized forward illumination and long beam reach
- Weather extremes like fog, heavy rain, snow, and glare from wet roads
- Energy efficiency demands for electric and hybrid commercial fleets
TYRI addresses these challenges with advanced LED drive and work lights engineered for compliance, durability, and driver comfort — ensuring fleets remain safe, efficient, and future-ready on every journey.

Testing and Approvals for Commercial Vehicles & Transport
EMC EN55025 / CISPR 25
Road-legal trucks, buses, and transport vehicles rely on sensitive on-board electronics, including GPS systems, telematics, cameras, and automated driver assistance systems. TYRI driving lights and work lights are tested to EMC standards to ensure zero interference, keeping all vehicle systems operating safely and reliably.
IP 69K
Commercial vehicles face rain, snow, road spray, and high-pressure wash-downs. TYRI IP69K-rated lights are rigorously tested against dust and water ingress, ensuring dependable performance even after years of daily use and repeated cleaning.
Salt spray testing
Road salt and other corrosive substances can quickly degrade lighting components. TYRI driving lights and work lights are salt spray tested to ASTM B117 standards, ensuring resistance to corrosion and long-term durability in harsh transport environments.
Vibration testing
Long-haul trucks, buses, and municipal vehicles encounter constant vibration from engine operation, uneven roads, and heavy cargo. TYRI driving lights and work lights undergo vibration testing for up to 8 hours on all axes at 10 Grms across 5–2000 Hz, simulating the real-world conditions of commercial transport.
Shock testing
Everyday bumps, jolts, and minor impacts are routine for vehicles on highways and city streets. TYRI driving lights and work lights are tested to withstand 50G shock forces, ensuring consistent performance even under the toughest operational conditions.
Environmental testing
Commercial vehicles must operate reliably in all climates. TYRI driving lights and work lights are tested from -40°C to +85°C with up to 90% humidity for a minimum of 50 days, proving dependable operation in extreme temperatures, wet conditions, and during storage or downtime.
Polarity / Overheating / Overvoltage Protection
TYRI commercial vehicle LED driving lights and work lights are engineered for long hours on trucks, buses, and fleet vehicles. Built-in temperature sensors prevent overheating, while reverse polarity and overvoltage protection safeguard LEDs from electrical errors. The result: reliable, long-lasting illumination that keeps your fleet operating safely and minimizes costly downtime.
