TYRI Lights takes a major step into a new market
TYRI has more than 50 years of experience in developing and producing high-quality work lighting for heavy vehicles. This takes place at the company’s facilities in Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.
For some industry professionals, it now comes as news that the company is also entering the more regulated market for various types of driving lights.
A Novelty for the Market – But Not for TYRI

In fact, TYRI has spent more than a decade designing customised headlamp solutions for leading vehicle manufacturers. From Valtra’s hybrid between headlamp and work light (Valtra S-Series, The Boss) to advanced modular designs. The news today is that they are bringing this expertise to standardised solutions for heavy vehicles.
“With standard products we want to enter a large market with high demands. The right quality is extremely important – but price will also be decisive,” says Christian Wadell, Global R&D Manager at TYRI.
First Up is a 90 mm Recessed Headlamp
The DLM-09 Bi-LED (high and low beam) is a 90 mm module designed as a direct replacement for recessed headlamps of industry standard. A headlamp that delivers an intense and clean light with good efficiency. It provides a strong, focused beam that cuts through the darkness while reducing energy consumption. This means less strain on the vehicle’s electrical system and more sustainable operation over time. Typical applications include construction machinery, agricultural vehicles, and commercial and transport equipment.
Inside the compact housing, advanced Bi-LED technology produces powerful light with excellent sharpness and color. Drivers see more detail and react more quickly to obstacles, even under demanding conditions. At the same time, the design keeps weight and power consumption low, supporting modern OEM requirements. The result is a light offering a smart balance between performance, efficiency and long-term durability — at a highly competitive price.
Next Launch:
Both Standalone Driving Lights and a Unique Tri-LED Solution.
“During 2026-2027 we will launch several new products within driving lights. One is a variant of the DLM-09 featuring a patented Tri-LED solution to allow better mounting high up on a vehicle. Another requested addition is a completely new standalone driving light that can be used on a wide range of vehicles. More about this at a later date,” promises Christian Wadell.
