TYRI strengthens the aftermarket in Sweden with knowledge and commitment – launches TYRI Distribution
TYRI Sweden wants to get closer to its aftermarket and is now launching TYRI Distribution together with Rikard Forsgård, formerly responsible for R-TEK/TYRI Norway, and Per Wallgren, former sales representative for TYRI Sweden. The company, co-owned by TYRI, Rikard, and Per, will act as a dedicated TYRI specialist for both resellers and end customers, with a strong focus on knowledge, experience, and fast service.
TYRI’s core focus lies in product development, manufacturing, and international sales to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) – producers of heavy vehicles in sectors such as construction, agriculture, forestry, mining, and material handling. These are often long-term partnerships involving high volumes, where manufacturers choose to equip their vehicle series with TYRI lighting. Research and development play a central role in this process, and now, with TYRI Distribution, that expertise will also be made available to both resellers and end users of TYRI’s products.
Rikard and Per bring extensive experience from within TYRI. Rikard has nearly 20 years of leadership in the Norwegian market, and Per has worked in sales in Sweden. Their combined expertise will now be more accessible to those closest to the products – resellers and end customers. They will be out in the field, educating, demonstrating, and assisting to ensure that everyone can make the most of TYRI’s products.
“It will be incredibly exciting and rewarding to take care of the aftermarket in Sweden and support it in every way we can. Ensuring that both the end customer and our resellers have the right knowledge and tools to use and describe our products is essential for customer satisfaction and for TYRI’s continued growth,” says Rikard Forsgård.
With its own warehouse in Sveg, where the headquarters will be located, TYRI Distribution will always be able to supply customers with smaller volumes and accessories needed for optimal lighting installation.
“We want things to be simple and fast with TYRI Distribution. Thanks to our warehouse’s strategic location, we’ll be able to deliver anywhere in Sweden within just one day. Combine that with our deep understanding of the majority of machines on the market and their lighting requirements, and I believe we’ll become a strong partner for anyone looking to learn more about lighting and get the right TYRI products for their needs,” says Per Wallgren.
The aftermarket is a key area for TYRI. That’s why the company wants to complement other resellers with TYRI specialists who support both them and end users, and help spread knowledge about TYRI’s new products and the latest developments in lighting for various types of construction machinery. It’s through this dialogue that TYRI gets close to the real-world applications, gains insights into how the products are used, what could be improved, and anticipates future needs.
“We see TYRI Distribution as a vital link in both directions. Having experts in the field who can assist both resellers and end customers is crucial for spreading knowledge about TYRI and ensuring our products are used to their fullest potential. But it’s also equally important for us as a company to stay as close to the market as possible and truly understand our end users, so we can continue to lead the way with innovative lighting solutions,” says Martin Karlberg, CEO of TYRI.
