The Real TYRI CO2 Challenge: 90% of Emissions Comes from Usage
– Not Production.

Key Findings

  • Less than 5% of the CO2 emissions from our products is generated during production.
  • Over 90% of the CO2 emissions occur during the usage phase of the lights’ life cycle.

At TYRI, we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact at every stage—both in production and throughout the product’s life cycle. However, the greatest opportunity to make a difference for the planet lies in improving energy efficiency during use.

ECO PWR Case Example: Efficiency in Every Light

By using TYRI ECO PWR Technology we can save at least 36% in energy consumption, delivering real savings without compromising performance.

PRODUCTION

By 2026, all four TYRI factories will have plans in place for 2026-2027 focusing on:

Increasing the use of sustainable energy

Reducing overall energy consumption

Minimizing production waste

Enhancing recycling processes in production

Generating energy onsite where possible (i e Solar energy)

100% - Using recycled aluminium by 2026

Achieving over 50% - recycled plastic useage by 2027

LIFE CYCLE

By 2026, we will implement a ”Sustainability Through Design” strategy for 2026-2027

Developing new and updated models with – 20-30% lower power consumption

Offering ECO PWR options for at least 10 of our most important models.

Actively encouraging customers to adopt ECO PWR solutions.

Providing products with up to 200 eLm/W efficiency.
